RRB JE Exam – Basic Information
RRB JE is the name of exam for recruitment of Junior Engineers in Indian Railways under the Government of India. RRB JE stands for Railway Recruitment Board Junior Engineer Exam. It is conducted by Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) of various Zones of Indian Railways. It is a technical examination and the minimum eligibility required is Diploma or B.Tech in Engineering.
RRB JE is a very popular exam among the Mechanical Engineers. It consists of two written tests and after qualifying the exam, the candidate is recruited to Group B Level -6 post of Indian Railways by the name of Junior Engineer. The basic pay is Rs. 35,400/- and the total salary after adding all allowances is around Rs. 70,000/- which is a very good salary.
