ISRO TECHNICAL ASSISTANT JOB
ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization), headquartered in Bengaluru, is the premier organization in India for all Space Related Activities and Research such as Launching of Satellites into orbits around the earth and Interplanetary Missions for scientific study. ISRO Technical Assistant is a Government Job in the Indian Space Research organization (ISRO) which comes under the Department of Space under the Government of India. It is a Group -B (Gazetted) Post and it entails a Pay Scale of Level -7 in the 7th CPC Pay matrix. The starting basic pay is Rs. 44,900/- and after adding all the allowances, the total pay is around Rs. 80,000/- per month.
Technical Assistants work closely with the Scientists of ISRO to materialize the planned missions of launching satellites and interplanetary missions. They are typically posted in the different Centers of ISRO as listed in the following sections.
TECHNICAL ASSISTANT EXAM DETAILS
The exam for Technical Assistant is conducted independently by various ISRO Center every year as per vacancy.
Eligibility: Engineering Diploma in the Concerned Discipline
Age Limit: 35 years
Exam Type : Online Computer Based Exam
Exam Pattern: 60 or 80 Questions containing 3 marks each. (Depends upon the center)
Negative Marking: Yes
Time Allowed: 1.5 hrs or 2 hrs (Depends upon the Center)

SDSC-SHAR is an important Center of ISRO. Its full name is Satish Dhawan Space Center. It is situated at Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh and all the space crafts are launched from this Space Center.
